Sterile Sampling (Dairy)
The One Piece Flip-Top containers are moulded through a very unique patented process. What is different from traditional moulding processes is the ability to close the vial while it is still in the mould. This provides major benefits for the product and the people who use them
- Seal Integrity: The seal between the top and the body is formed while the plastic is cooling, creating a seal that is moisture tight, even through repeated opening and closings
- Aseptic Processing: The vial is closed while still in the mould, free from any contamination
The Dairy Sampling vial used for Payment and Herd Improvement purposes is designed to allow one-hand manipulation. This feature assists to preserve the integrity of the sample, and as a result improves the reliability of the dairy sample.
The users, farmers and laboratory technicians appreciate the manipulation of flip top containers for the following reasons:
- User Friendly as no contact or contamination of the lid is permitted
- Convenience for the field operations as the lid is always connected to the vial
- One-hand opening and closing speaks for improved cleanliness and secure traceability
Our plastic vials can also be used for different purposes such as:
- Liquid Storage and Packaging
- Environmental Sampling
- Food Sampling
- Drug Abuse Testing
- Veterinary Sample Vials
- Any Application where aseptic leakproof containers are needed

Laboratory Automation
Capitol Europe along with their partners played a major role in the automation of the Dutch Central Laboratory Qlip. The project started in 2002 with the installation of the first integrated automation design to analyse up to 15,000 payment vials per day.
In 2006 Qlip and its automation partners signed an agreement to build an automation system for Herd Improvement. The system is designed to process 50,000 milk samples per day.
